Our Produce
Provenance has become a really big issue with food in recent years, but Ferguson’s have always provided the very best meats from known suppliers – your guarantee of quality.
Beef
Our produce is fresh, local and traceable. Walter Dandie & Sons, a family run beef & arable farm, supply us with home bred or local market cattle. The cattle are fed on GM free home grown grass, silage, barley & grain. They are grazed during summer months and housed in cattle courts, which are bedded down with straw, in winter.
Pork
Our pig supplier, direct from the farm, is Robertsons of Ardrossan. We only buy gilt (female) pigs, ensuring the quality and consistency required in making our bacon, sausages & pork products.
Lamb
From Caledonian Marts. This farmers co-op, established in 1963, supplies farm assured lamb & beef. Our lamb is traceable from the following farm assured numbers – Faskine 10237, Moorfield 1843, East Ochtermuthill 4262, Learielaw 6636, Hillcroft 7350 & South Medrox 7594

Sausages
We love sausages! We manufacture a vast variety daily in our shop. We are a 5th generation family of butchers, with many old, traditional recipes. We believe if you put good produce in, you get a good product out. This is reflected in the many awards, medals and championships we have won.
Haggis & Puddings
A true taste of Scotland, with more than 150 years experience, in carefully blending our puddings and haggis, making traditional produce with care, from prime ingredients.
Extra Lean
Our extra lean products are specially selected, to allow variety for the customer. All products are extra lean, made fresh daily, ideal for freezing, less fat and high in protein. Healthy eating option for all the family.
Bacon
Our home made, traditional, cured bacon is made from specially selected pork, always gilt (female) pigs and always Scotch. Full flavoured, tender, and gold medal winning.
Burgers
Ferguson steak/beef burgers are made from 100% Scottish beef. Full flavour; ideal for BBQ.

Ferguson’s speciality products are in demand all year. We have an extensive selection, tried and tasted. Consistent Award Winners.
Bakery
Freshness is key to the success of our bakery. The smell of pies and pastry straight out of the oven is a great draw for our customers. Great smells, great freshness. “Hot Potato Scones, straight out of the bag” – can’t beat it!!!
